Raíces the roots
I'm Hern — a first-generation Mexican-American floral designer, born and raised in Bushwick, Brooklyn. My eye was trained before flower school: on hand-painted rótulos, on mercado stalls stacked with cempasúchil, on the ofrendas my family builds every October.
The work sits where those two educations meet — Mexican color and craft, held to a New York standard. Everything is built by hand. No templates, no minimums on personality.
